Video Submission Guideline
In organizing “The 6th International Symposium on Conservation and Management of Tropical Lakes” In conjunction with “The 3rd International Conference on Tropical Limnology” (TROPLIMNO III)as an online conference, presenters are recommended to send the video presentations ahead of the event to avoid technical difficulties during presentation or you can choose to play the recorded video during your session directly. Technical guidelines for preparing and submitting video presentation are as follows:
Create and submit your presentation video
Prepare a video by having you presenting in front of a camera or your voice over the PowerPoint or a combination of any other creative methods of your preference. For example, you may use multiple screens, one for the PowerPoint presentation slides and a smaller one with you as the presenter.
All information about the presentation title, authors’ names and affiliation must appear on the first slide of your PowerPoint.
Presentation must be in English.
The most successful presentation videos are well narrated and graphically rich presentations of your research which both highlight the main points and fill in the most interesting details. The least effective presentation video is a simple reading of your slides or manuscript.
Video Format
The maximum duration of the video presentation per participant is 15 minutes. Save your recorded video in MP4 or other formats, such as MPEG, MOV, and WMV.
The video presentation files should be no larger than 1GB. The recommended file size is 40 MB with 720p video quality.
Save your video file in a naming format “[Topic #]_[Surname-first name of the first author]_[Abstract title]”.
The presentation schedule will be shown on the conference website after the acceptance of your abstract.
Please be advised that we might update the presentation schedule at any time according to the latest update from our presenters. Please kindly inform us immediately if your name is not listed in the schedule via our contact email.
